Description: Carringtons Bluff, located in Austin's Hill Country, is a historic Austin Inn conveniently located in the City. Enjoy the peacefulness on an acre of tree-covered bluff in the heart of Austin. This 1877 English country house was part of an original homestead of the Republic of Texas. Carrington's Bluff has eight guest rooms in two separate buildings. The Main House has five guest rooms and the Writers' Cottage has three guest rooms. Both houses have kitchens, sitting areas, and porches. This layout adds to the privacy of each guest room. Inside you'll find rooms filled with English and American antiques, accented with English country fabrics and decor. Choose a peaceful room in either our Main House or our Writers' Cottage. Every room is different, with some having antique bathtubs, garden views, or sitting areas. The tranquility of the bluff ensures a refreshing stay.
